About Us

Shane has worked on vehicles since he helped out at a local garage on Saturdays when he was at school. It was here where Shane first found his passion for motors. When it came to leaving school, Shane got himself an apprenticeship for a national vehicle hire company, in which he achieved runner up in apprentice of the year. Here, Shane worked on a variety of cars, vans and HGV's.

Since completing his apprenticeship, he then went on to progress his career by working in dealerships on Cars, working for a local garage running the workshop, working as a motorcycle technician, to moving to Izuzu and working his way up to becoming the Workshop Foreman, working on HGV's and 4x4's. 

His desire to run his own business started in 2012 when he welcomed his son, Charlie, in to the world. Shane has always been a hardworking and passionate individual, and decided that in 2019, he would create SP Service and Repair Ltd that he will hopefully be able to pass on to Charlie when he is older.  With his wife, Emma, looking after the paperwork,  Charlie eager to help daddy out with his work - the dream team was created!
